What transportation should I use to travel from Milan to Bologna?
I need to go to Bologna University from Milan Airport, but could no longer afford a plane ride. Shoul I take the bus or the train?

Hi, the best way is catching the fast train from Milan Central Station, departing every hour to Bologna Centrale, duration 1hr and 5 minutes. You may also reserve your seat via internet www.trenitalia.it

Hey there, I would for sure use the train. A bus is going to take much longer and righ now they cost about the same with the price of gas so high. You can use this site. http://www.ferroviedellostato.it/homepage.html

the best way to go from milan to bologna is through train, first take a bus going to milano centrale train station ,you will get the bus outside the airport , then take a train from milano centrale train station to bologna train station.

howzit? the train is the best way. from Milano Centrale there are trains to Bologna every 25-30 minutes. depending on which train you take the trip can be from 1 to 2 hours - the 2 hours is obviously a train that makes every stop. they are fast, clean and relatively inexpensive. from Malpensa airport there are buses and trains to Milano Centrale. if you take the train from Malpensa there is one change on the way to Milano Centrale.
p.s., while you are in Italy the trains are the best way to go from one city to another
