If you are staying at San Pedro Sula you will have the oportunity to take a full or half day tour to Cusuco National Park. 15 minutes after you leave your hotel you start a 4x4 trip through the mountain range of El Merendon. The sea of clouds, the dense jungle waterfalls, hiking through few visited pathways.

Parque Nacional Cusuco is another protected area in Honduras, very closed to San Pedro Sula our industrial city. This park produces a lot of water to this city. There altitudes of four thousand feet and the climate is very cool.
You can do hiking, bird and plant observation. There is little hotel (cabins) to stay the night over.
