Bastille is beautiful symbol of freedom . The Bastille was stormed July 14, 1789 by the Parisian people come for the powder. It was also to seize the revolutionaries of the last royal stronghold in Paris after the uprising of 13 July.
The storming of the Bastille is now considered a symbol of the French Revolution it marks the beginning.

This is the place where long ago there stood an enormous prison-fortress. In the beginning of the French revolution, the people stormed this citadel to liberate the prisoners. Later they tor it apart, using the blocks to build some of the bridges still standing over the river Seine today!
