Many have said it is paradise at 1400m a.s.l.! The dawns and dusks are incredible!
The peace and quiet, the fresh, clean mountain air, the spectacular skies ... a few days here, and you'd be prepared again for the stresses of everyday life.
Go on hikes; do some bird-watching; take horseback tours to cascades, waterfalls, and cachaça-distilleries; try the good restaurants, and cruise the bars; go shopping for ceramics (some artisans are of international renown), there's much more; or just plain relax.
We're sure you'll love it! Go see for yourself.

A great place to wind down while you appreciate the spectacular 300º view. They have lodgings too, and a pool, cool Scottish owner & Brazilian Indian partner

A really cool place hidden away in South Eastern Brazil's hills, not too far from Paraty. Many have said it is paradise at 1400m a.s.l.! The dawns and dusks are incredible!
The peace and quiet, the fresh, clean mountain air, the spectacular skies ... a few days here, and you'll be prepared again for the stresses of everyday life.
They arrange hikes; bird-watching; horseback tours to cascades and waterfalls, cachaça-distilleries; good restaurants and bars can be found nearby, on can shop for ceramics (some artisans are of international renown), and much more; or just plain relax. I'm sure you'll love it! The owners dispose of but two comfortably spacious apartments (sleep 3 each); with fully equipped kitchens; TV; linens and towels; hot water; a small pool; vegetable garden; flowers; a spectacular 360º view of the partially still jungle-covered mountains ... It simply is amazing. As is the owner.
