known for it seafood meals especially fish served with the world renowned festival and bammy. Here you have the opportunity to chose the fish you will eat, it is cooked on spot while you bathe int warm waters of just lazy in the sun. This is a great place to enjoy sea, sun and food. You can get a massage, craft, horseback riding +.

Great place to go especially on a Sunday for couples and families. Great place to sit and eat the biggest fish you can ever tasted. Some of the most popular fish restaurants such as Prendy's on the Beach will satisfy your taste buds. Parties are also kept out there in the days & nights. You will also find some of Jamaica's friendliest people there.

Beautiful beach and wonderful food close to good shopping areas.
Popular for its often imitated fish (though this is done in many ways the fried fish is most popular) and festival ( a mix with cornmeal the main ingredient that is fried). The many entrepreneurs on the beach offer a variety of services from jewelry of all types of materials, to massage and are willing to start a new business on the spot if you have a request and the money to back it up.
Hellshire Beach is open 24hrs but one should exercise extreme caution after 10pm unless there for one of the often held stage shows or theme parties.
All around Hellshire beach gets an 8 out of 10 for public beaches to attend.

About a 20 minute drive from Spanish Town, Hellshire Beach is not just a beach, but a cultural experience on the beach. It is home to a quaint neighbourhood of fishermen and their families in board houses with fish and festival frying, lobster steaming and shellfish 'souping' restaurants as their income earning way of life. The image one has of Jamaica with Rasta men on the beach, coconuts and white sand beaches awaits you at Hellshire. Ideal, if you want to really get to know the locals. You will not likely find a quiet day on the sand if you go to this beach where craftsmen selling their wares, background music sounding from restaurants and shack houses and Rasta men offering therapeutic massages on coconut shaded board chairs. Sorry, no hammocks. Y If that's what you're looking for, then Fort Clarence is where you want to go. Just backtrack a few kilometers up the main road before getting to Hellshire. Though the entry fee is about US$3.00, a quiet, tree shaded beach on a fairly long stretch of beach is what you'll find there. Take you're snacks and refreshments. Hellshire's entry is free, but plan to spend at least US$12.00/ meal for some of the best fried fish known to be found in these parts of the island.
