The National Museum David J. Guzman is an icon of Salvadoran culture, contains our indigenous roots, as well as our acculturation in colonial times. Its exhibits are novel with plenty of information.
Important anthropological and sociological review of the periods presented.
Without doubt one of the best places to see our yesterday, today.

It´s a wonderful place to soak up the ancient culture of the pipiles. Also, they usually have outdoor free concerts and movie showings during the evenings when the weather allows it. The displays are all extremely tasteful and you can walk away from there with a true sense of what life in El Salvador was thousands of years ago.

It´s an exellent place for knowing more about history from El Salvador, and cultural sites. It has scultures, pictures, archaeological items, of each part of our history. It counts with diferents areas like Galery of art, introductory room, historical cities, agriculture, religion, international movies.

I have to say that you have to visit the Museum to understand about El Salvador's culture, where we come from.
In the museum you will learn about the Mayan culture, El Salvador's history and also about our heritage.
