The best of the best .. I love copacabana from all directions or at sea, whether on earth or in the air, the beach of Copacabana has everything that everyone needs. Life revolves around 24 hr in the air, not ever. Restaurants, bars, nightclubs, game room can be found open and we are always welcome to sites independent of when we come .. This will only Brazil has. Thank God.

Locals call the beach as COPA, so it is better for you to get used to refer to Copacabana in a very private way...IT IS NOT COPACABANA, JUST SAY "COPA"
The whole beach is divided in 4 parts:
LEME - Because of a fort with the same name, in the right corner of the beach
MERIDIEN - It is a huge hotel that changed name, now it is IBERO STAR and it is located on the Atlantica Avenue corner with a very important avenue which connects Copacabana to the Bay Area of the city in Botafogo. This avenue is called PRINCESA ISABEL.
SIQUEIRA CAMPOS - Very busy street which concentrates the best part of the district for shopping (ATTENTION GIRLS!!!), it is also lcoated in the middle of the beach and very close to the famous COPACABANA PALACE.
POSTO SEIS - Most exclusive part of Copacabana, here everything is more ellegant and calmer than the rest of Copacabana. Sometimes Copacabana is not only a simple neighborhood of Rio, sometimes Copacabana turns into a huge urban city..But at Posto Seis you still can live without hurry, you forget a little bit about stressing life and by the end of the afternoon you can have a nice coffe in a nice café at Copacabana Fortress, enjoying the view of the whole beach and also the rocks of Diabo beach abd Arpoador!
For those who stays in Copa, it is always better to be located from the Copacabana palace to the end of the beach at POSTO SEIS.

Copacabana everybody knows and it is part of the dreams of many people I met in my trips, so this is one of the shots of a nice place in Rio.
I just like Copacabana outside of the peak hour when the trafic is disgusting and I love Copacabana when I do not remember that it is a place where about 80.000 people live!;)

Copacabana beach is the most beautiful beach in Rio de Janeiro. Walking at Avenida Atlantica you get the idea how Rio de Janeiro is one of the best places to be. Beauty and pleasure make this place a MUST. If you can stay at Avenida Atlantica - (where there is the most famous and expensive hotel in Rio: Copacabana Palace, were Madonna and all celebrities stays) - you will enjoy your trip all the way. You can rent an apartment at the beach for a much better price that Ipanema or Leblon, and you will be seating in the restaurants facing the ocean and enjoying the people strolling by. Shopping, live music, special live concerts in Rio are in this beach (Rolling Stones, etc).Even at nigth, with the ligths along the beach, make this local special for walking, biking, waching sports games like voley or futboll.. buyin arts & crafts from locals, etc.
