City Stadium

Pinang George Town, Pinang, Malaysia

Type: Lodging, Activities
Preference: Outdoors, Family
Description:
Editpiss-poor excuse for a stadium - now junkie-haunt, come morning, it is a "pasar" ie: junk market with fruits, so-called "antiques" (stolen goods or China-made junks); come evening, night-fall, it's dead quiet, nary a sane being wanders here, 'cept for syringe carriers or glue-in-a-plaster sniffers. best stay away.

no prizes for the insane dumb-ass who chose this "stadium" as a tourist area. this is a place where in any country, they'd wanna keep it under wraps, don't talk about this place, it's a huge embarassment, "are u nuts? don't go there!" kinda conversations. the lesser said, the better. just don't go there. the only plus point is, the TNB (national electric board) sub-office located there - come to think of it, that's the reason why this place is such a dump, it's becos of these unsavoury characters working there. laziest citizens/employees - that's why they're junkies.

It is a good place for multi-use stadium in Penang, Malaysia, which is the oldest stadium still used in Penang. I t was built by British in year 1932 and it became a popular venue for football matches over several years. The stadium was currently be renovated in a better condition for a better environment over there.

This Stadium called Georgetown City Stadium an oldest city stadium in Malaysia. It's was build by British architecture wihich we consider the best quality Stadium in Penang island.Because it;s an old stadium the capacity seating can accomodate up to 25,000 thousand people only. There were also spacious carpark and buses to park located at front and back entrance of the stadium and food stalls were around this area.Location of this stadium is right in Georgetown city and well known by all the local there.Dont miss to visit interesting place if happenned you were in Penang Island.
