One of the favorite beaches among the locals and also tourists. It's somewhere near Batu Ferringhi, the northern side of Penang Island. No admission fee needed, that's why a lot of the locals love to spend time with the kids there during weekends or holidays. You can do picnic or go for a swim, but watch out for jelly fish as there are quite a lot along the coastline of Penang. For lodging, can opt for Hydro Hotel, which is located at the beach.

Great roadside hawker food. Nice beach. Fine white sand. Good relaxation venue for couples and families. Not crowded on normal days but can be sometimes packed during weekends.
