The Forest Research Institute of Malaysia (FRIM) is great for those wanting to learn more about tropical rainforests as the institute is very visitor friendly and have frequent public and children oriented activities that relates to the environment and nature. It's about 30 minutes drive from the city centre and has some good hikes that include a canopy walk. Entrance fee is RM1 onwards but admission for activities goes up to RM40.

FRIM - Forest Research Institute of Malaysia. As its name imply a forest reserve, this is a place where one will enjoy the nature of fauna and flora. In the evening, a lot people will go there for their daily jog and other activities. When come to some weekend or holidays, there are times where some special activites or public awareness is being held here. There is an arboretum and bitotech division to explore. And not forgetting a suspension bridge to test your phobia.
