This place its amazing, you can always find interesting cultural activities and expositions, and the best part is that if you get there before 12am it's free! You can also visit the cafe, the gift shop. This place is located underneath the goberment palace, La Moneda.

The Palacio de la Moneda (the Palace of the Coin or Mint Palace, as it is the place where coins were originally minted), is the traditional site where Chilean Presidents - and their closer staff - work, and where they lived until the 1950's. It is located right in the center of the city. Although the architecture is traditional, it has been renovated and modernized in the last years. Every two days you can watch the traditional changing of the Palace Guards, a main tourist attraction. A large and modern Art Center, with a varied offer of traditional Chilean handicrafts, now functions in an underground area, right in front of the Palacio de la Moneda. I highly recommend you to visit both, but I believe you must be on site to really enjoy all there is to learn on these interesting places.

It is a beautiful place, with a lot of history. You can see policeman making a "guard change" every 2 days in the morning it is pretty nice to see it. And you can also find some important people over there if you are lucky you can find someone and take a picture even with the president. In the same place you can find a museum.-
