well its a good place and so many people comes here especially young local people
kawah putih in english its called white crater its a volcanic lake and the color of the waters always changed everyday some people thought this lake is haunted by ghost, evil, or unrested spirit but thats just a myth till today :)

White Crater (Kawah Putih) formed by an eruption of Mount Patuha (Gunung Patuha) around X - XIII century. Mount patuha known by locals as Mount of the Elder (Gunung Sepuh = Pak Tua). The view just amazing and the crater is very unique and the water always changing colors, sometimes greens, yellowish and white. But mostly the color is white. Mist sometimes also covering the area giving the exotic panorama view.
Along the way to Situ Patenggang (Lake Patenggang), you can enjoy the beauty panorama of tea plantations that give you the view of beautiful natural sceneries on the right and left side along the road. Tea plantations also found at the Love Stone area which give the exotic view of the lake.
At the hillside of Mount Patuha (Gunung Patuha) there is a lake with it cool fresh air and nature beauty sceneries. The locals of Patengan has a myth/legend about the undying love between the son of Prabu called Ki Santang and the reincarnation of the daughter of Titisan Dewi that called Dewi Rengganis. They separated for such a long time and because of their undying love then they never stopped crying and looking for each other. According to the myth the water of the lake was the tears of these two lovers.
Because of their undying love, Ki Santang and Dewi Rengganis, finally, they met at the place called Love Stone. This stone became the silent witness of their reunited love. It is believed that for any lovers that stop by at this Love Stone and circling around the Love Island (Pulau Asmara) will have an eternal love just like Ki Santang and Dewi Rengganis.
In the middle of the late ther is an island. It used to be a boat request by Dewi Rengganis to Ki Santang so they could sail together in the lake. The boat then transformed into an island with the shape of love sign and known as Love Island (Pulau Asmara/Pulau Sasaka) in the middle of the lake.
Picking strawberries straight from the farm also give you enjoyable moment, walking along the strawberry trees and picking them. After that you can enjoy the freshness of it fresh juicy juice. Also you can enjoy strawberry ice cream, strawberry jelly and strawberry jams.
Around the strawberry farms, we can also enjoy the beauty of the orchids farm. There are various of orchids species that you can buy and plant it in your house.
