It is the most beautiful and attractive park of Sao Paulo, where you can practicve jogging, biking, just walk among the numerous trees and lakes, make a pic nic with friends ans also visit nice arts expositions at OCA, Museu das Culturas Regionais Brasileiras, MAM, Bienal, as well as join very amazing music shows at Auditorio Ibirapuera. It is our Hide Park or Central Park and it is quite near my house, what makes it even more special to me.

Ibirapuera park is to sao paulo like Central park is to New York. You cant see the hole thing in one day, atached to the park there is a modern art musuem (MASP) that is realy great and an expo center and depending on the day you can see a free tour, or you can just walk threw the japanese garden. Its a good idea to rent a bike there(cheap).

This the main park in São Paulo built in 08/21/1954. The architecture project was leaded by Oscar Niemeyer and the landscape project was leaded by Roberto Burle Marx.
They have many attractions like planetarium, museum of modern art, bienal and areas for physical activity.
