This beach town of Orissa is famous for its virgin beach which is unexplored a lot and is serene and not much crowded throughout the year. It is well approachable as it is just three hours journey from the nearest airport at Bhubaneswar, and half an hour journey form the nearest Bus and Train Terminal at Berhampur.
There are many small and medium hotels in this town apart frmo the government run Panthnivas where you can stay with luxury.
