Paris is the capital and largest city in France, situated on the river Seine, in northern France, at the heart of the Île-de-France region (or Paris Region, French: Région parisienne). The city of Paris, within its administrative limits largely unchanged since 1860, has an estimated population of 2,193,031 (January 2007), but the Paris metropolitan area has a population of 11,836,970 (January 2007), and is one of the most populated metropolitan areas in Europe

It is always nice to be able to visit Paris, although, French people could barely speak English but I was with a friend who was a French, that cut down the communicating barrier .. So it is best if you could speak French! Lets start with Bonjour! (hello) and be polite to say Merci (thank you), thanks a lot is merci beaucoup, don't forget to say sorry --> pardon or desole when needed, to say bye bye is au revoir and have a good day is Bonne journee!
