Vysehrad is the hill where the first Castle of Prague was - now it is located in teh district of Prague 2 and it is surely worth a visit - there is a beautiful park offering great views of the river, bridges and Prague Castle. In the park are beautiful huge sculptures of Czech biggest sculptor Myslbek
Nice view of Prague with Prague Castle and whole panorama in a distance on the other bank of the river Vltava. Not very commonly visited by travel agencies. Park and medieval church and walls. Nice place for the rest and relax. Good for the summer and for the night walks. Accessible by underground (line C, station Vyšehrad). When you are lucky, some concerts or historical swordplay and similar performances take place there.
