Typical Uruguayan food is "Parrillada" which is like an American Barbecue but using wood for fire to cook the asado (meat), chorizos (Uruguayan sausages) and vegetables. There is also a salad bar. Very expensive but very good food and with a wonderful view of the Puerto del Buceo (Yacht Club and recreational port).

Excellent State of the Art Gourmet Food! Cozy place with excellent view and panoramic scene. It offers selected wines and daily menus that are carefully prepared to your most highly quality standard demands. Casa Violet is one the border of the beach and you will find a pearl in the middle of the that border!

It-s a good restaurant. The food is mainly different meats and different salads. The view from the eating table is beautiful!! it is located in front of the Yacht Club so you can enjoy a good meal and a wonderful sightseeing. Plenty of space to park.

Meats are the specialty at this beautiful restaurant facing Puerto del Buceo, one of the prettiest spots in the city. Parrilla is served in the method called espeto corrido—grilled meats are brought to your table on a long skewer so you can slice off whatever you want. There's also a good selection of salads. There's a big deck shaded with umbrellas and with attractive views of the port and surrounding homes.
