Hi Sunny,

Try Conrad Centennial, they got two service exellence award from SPRING Singapore at the same time, it's the very first time this happened. Beside Singapore's Conrad Centennial is rated the best Conrad Centennial in the world, and they are known to go the extra mile for you. Haha, is this information useful? I learnt about this hotel in school. Hope it helps you one way or another.

Hi Sunny,

If money is no object then there are plenty of 5-star hotels along Orchard Road itself and most will have their own shopping arcades within. Try looking on hotel sites like or or , etc.

Those along or just off the road are the Grand Hyatt, the Hilton, the Marriot, the Meritus Mandarin, the Pan Pacific Orchard, the Pan Pacific Serviced Apartments, the Regent, the St Regis, the Royal Plaza on Scotts, the Goodwood Park Hotel, the Orchard Hotel, the Orchard Park Hotel, teh Concorde Hotel and the Shangri-La.

If you'd like the new downtown and the huge malls at Marina/Suntec area, there are the Conrad, the Ritz-Carlton, the Mandarin Oriental, the Pan Pacific Singapore, the Swissotel the Stamford, the Inter-Continental, the Fairmont, the Fullerton and the granddaddy of them all, the Raffles Hotel.

They are good to great hotels, most of them part of international hotel chains and you would expect to pay top dollar for a stay they, especially at the Raffles. Therefore, if you are coming for 6 nights, accommodation will not be cheap. The average for these hotels would be about US$1000 for the 6 nights.

Singapore has a huge array of hotels and it is hard to zoom in on one or even a few. If you can provide more criteria, eg, budget, activities, itineary, etc, then the search may be narrowed down a little more.
i would highly recommend the novotel at clarke quay, it is a nice hotel, with a shopping centre underneath it, right by the river and with restaurants and coffee shops all around. Orchard Road is only 5 minutes away by taxi.
Hi,
Since you are with 2 kids, I suggest hotels along the Orchard Road belt. Staying within city areas not only gives you mobility to shopping malls but also with ease and convenient should you need to go back fast to your hotels especially with kids around. Transportation along Orchard Road is assessible via MRT and buses, easy for you and kids.
thanks my friend, i am planning to stay in hotel orchard parade. is it ok, do u have any more suggestions in this price range
thanks
sunny
I suggest you stay at Somerset Compass.
It's walking distance to Orchard Road, very near to Orchard Paragon, Takashimaya, etc...

I have stayed here before really very suitable for those with family. They even have kitchen with utensils provided, big fridge & washing machine.

More details here:
If you have two small kids with you, let the booking agent know about this and any special request you have prior to booking the room.

Other requirements such as low floor, high floor, baby cribs etc etc...

You can also try and if you book early, you can usually get about 20-30% off the rack rates and if you are lucky, discounts off the promotional rates as well.

Hotel Intercontinental is right beside the Bugis Junction & new Iluma shopping cenre. It is also located near Raffles City Shopping centre, Sntec City and within 10 minutes from Orchard Road. Bugis is where the crowd is now.

If you prefer Orcgard Road, you can try hotels like Meritus Mandarin, ask for the Great Singapore Sale Package if you intend to travel during this period. They have weekend specials as well.
