Hi Trang,
The time is a bit short but here's what you can do.
1) Friday Afternoon.
Explore Central partof Singapoe.
Start with Orchard Road and take a walk down all the way to Bugis if you want to do more shopping and buy electronics.
2) visit the Singapore Flyer and have dinner at the Esplanade Food Court.
Saturday Morning
1) HabourFront, catch ferry to Bintan
2) Come back in the evening and travel to Sentosa and catch the Musical Fountain or do shopping at Vivocity if you prefer.
3) Spend the Sunday either at Sentosa island or travel to the western part of SIngapore where you get to visit the SIngapore Bird Park, Singapore Discovery centre, Singapore Science Centre and end the visit at Night Safari.
sounds like a neat plan! thanks Penny :-)

Xin chao em, Trang! I feel that 3 days is insufficient to include a trip to Bintan. Why not spend that day exploring the Singapore Zoo instead? The Botanic Gardens is also a must-see.Not only do they offer free admission, but it is located along Tanglin Road, which is just next to the shopping belt of Orchard Road in Singapore!
Thanks Simon :-) I'll definitely keep the Botanic garden in mind!
Hi Trang,

Your number of days allocoated is tight if you are going to include Bintan in your trip.

Would suggest as follows:
Friday
1) Do a Duck Tour so you can see various attraction places
of Chinatown, Clark Quay, Boat Quay, to see the famous Singapore Merlion.
- After that, you can visit the Singapore Flyer.
- Around that area is a shopping area, and you may want to do some shooping if you like at Marina Square and Raffles Place.
- In the evening, you can go to Chijmes for Happy Hour and Dinner.
- If you like night life, recommend you to go Clark Quay.

Saturday
1) You can go for a day tour around Singapore and that can be easily arranged through hotel's concierge.
2) In the evening, you can visit the famous Night Safari that can include dinner.

Sunday
- Visit Sentosa or opt to stay 1 night for Rest & Relax

Monday
- Check out from Sentosa, you can leave to airport.

Cheers
Rosanna
Thanks Rosanna! :-)
It is indeed a short trip. I am sure you know Bintan is about 2.5 - 3 hours ferry trip from Singapore. It is not within Singapore's jurisdiction. May I suggest that you do local visits and probably visit Sentosa which is beach resort and I guess that's the reason you want to visit Bintan. Cheap shopping can be done over Bugis Village and you have the whole of Orchard Road stretch for your shopping needs.
Thanks :-)
Best not go to Bintan, it will eat up too much of your time.
For a full day out, go to Jurong Bird in the morning and then to Sentosa in the afternoon. Enter by cable car from Mount Faber and go to museum showing Singapore history (images of singapore), go on the luge and the chairlift, visit underwater world and the dolphin show, have dinner on sentosa and then end the night watching songs of the sea. Sunday i would visit Bugis area taking in a couple of temples, go to raffles hotel for a singapore sling, then walk to kampong glam (muslim quarter) and then onto chinatown. Dont forget to go into chinese heritage centre, it is very interesting. In the evening, go off to the night safari, what a trip, but you would have seen a good overview of singapore. Have fun, and dont forget the red bull!
Thanks :-)
I wonder if you've been hearing about how small Singapore is :)

I do agree with many here that a trip to Bintan would not be worth the time (45 min ferry ride each way plus check in, waiting, etc) unless you have something specific in mind there. Otherwise, Singaporeans generally only go there to relax at a beach resort.

Your 3 days in Singapore can be really full depending on what you want to see and do. Since the shopping is everywhere, I'll highlight a few other things you may want to consider.

There are quite a few museums which are very good for you to check out: National Museum, Asian Civilizations Museum, Singapore Art Museum, Chinatown Heritage Museum, etc. Each would take about 2 hours to walk about.

Other attractions such as the Bird Park, Botanic Gardens (free!), Zoo and Night Safari are definitely worth a trip. They can easily take up half a day each, if not one full day.

Sentosa is definitely a day by itself (can be costly though). There is the Underwater World, Fort Siloso, Images of Singapore (waxwork museum), butterfly park, Songs of the Sea, etc to visit. Take the cable car to complete the experience. You can take a taxi up to Mt Faber, have a look around the short history of Singapore display near the summit and take in the city view from the country's 2nd highest natural point, then go on the cable car to head to Sentosa. Do as much as you like there (including beach bumming) and then take a bus or monorail back to the mainland.

I think the places I've mentioned can easily fill up a week's worth for anyone to work through. Don't rush, take your time and come back for what you can't do this time around.

Enjoy!
Thanks! :)
