Is Marmaris good place for rest and shopping?

Country: Turkey

it s very busy in summer time but now it could be
better for rest .no idea about shopping i think it may be
expensive coz very touristic region there.hope i could
make u have an idea .
No. I dont think that this is a good choice for rest.. ıt is very crowded. But also it depends where you are gonna stay..

If you come to Fethiye, you will have great time.. You can rest , have really peacefull time, swim, go to daily boat trips with reasonable prices, have good food at the nice restaurants, no trafic, no stress, fresh vegetables, fresh fruits, positive people around, tourists are mostly from France, USA, England, germany ,Finland, Denmark.. Shopping .. Well, it depends again what you are gonna buy? Clothes, gold, carpets, silver, !!! There are nice shopping areas you can find many different things.
If you like to come over send to me an e-mail..

I can do my best to help to you.
Have a good time.

Marmaris is Probably the Most Popular Yacht Charter, Sailing and Holiday Resort in Turkey.
Beautiful coastline, friendly people, good fresh foods and delicious local wines, that could easily compete against many European vineyards. Nights out in Marmaris are guaranteed to be fun, colorful, lively and unforgettable. The summer is long and good weather is virtually guaranteed between May and as late as end October.

Marmaris is a port city and a tourist destination on the Mediterranean coast, located in southwest Turkey, in the Muğla Province.

Marmaris' main source of income is tourism. While little is left of the sleepy fishing village that Marmaris was just a few decades ago after a construction boom in the 1980s, Marmaris still retains its charm due to the exceptional natural beauty of its location. The town's population is 28,660 (2000) and is estimated to reach 300,000 - 400,000 people during the tourism season, when the flow of people reaches critical levels. Marmaris' nightlife rivals anything on the Turkish coast.

It is also a major centre for sailing, possessing two major and several smaller marinas. It is a popular wintering location for hundreds of cruising boaters. There are regular ferry services to the Greek island of Rhodes, and large cruise ships call at the port.

marmaris suitable for rest, enjoy and night life, if u wanna shopping there, u can prefer shopping malls... ;)
