Question

We think Hawaii's a beautiful destination and we want to go there for a holiday next year.

We are from San Diego. Which time of the year would be best to see Hawaii? Which place do you think will be best for a holiday? We don't want it to be too crowded, just want to drink in the beauty of the islands. Any other advise, tips for us?

The least crowded island would be Kauai and I also believe the most beautiful for scenic wonders! The best time to visit any of the islands would be from late April to end of May and also mid September to end of October are also best. This is so true for 2 reasons: Best chance of good weather and families still usually have kids in school during this time. As you may also have heard eating out on the islands can get very expensive as well so if you are just a couple or a family traveling together I would suggest that you might consider a condomimium with a full kitchen to help keep the cost down. Please feel free to contact me should you need any additional assistance?
A vacation rental in the state of hawaii can be had on all the islands. Each of them is distinctive with it's own history since we are separated by channels of water which span several miles. The least populated Island Is the "Garden Island" of Kauai. The one that is still forming is the "Big Island" of Hawaii with active volcanoes still erupting. According to geologists, Mauna (mountain) Kea is the tallest in the world rising from the sea bottom to actually tower over mt. everest if put equally side by side. Any time of year is good but with lesser traffic, sudden weather and cooler temps, December and January thru March would be the quietest times Holidays notwithstanding, Christmas and New Years here is not to be missed. Halloween is also a party affair with Waikiki and other areas being foot paths instead of streets. Lot's of costumes. It is like Mardi Gras in winter.
I live here so feel free to call me and I will help in any way that I can.
