The main issue is time. It is getting harder to book on the Inca trail and you need to start way in advance. Let me know your planned dates and the total number of hikers and I will start making reservations for you. Write
Good luck.
Yes, totally agree, the problem about the Inka Tral is the time, I did it a couple of time, and it was quite hard. bUT, I`m sure he would give you the best option! have a nice trip!
hi!
if you don't have the time or want to do something less crowded and much nicer than the gringo trail, think about Choquequirao. I can give you more informations, just write!
My husband and I will be visiting Cuzco in late May early June and would be interested in a multi day hiking tour, what type of gear would we need to bring?
Hola !

A good agencie is United Mice, but you need to book for the Inka trail 6 months a go.
You have many alternatives in Peru with Inka trails, come visit my web and look the Inka Trail of Pariaccacca this is a amazing Inka Trail.
Good Luck.
they're proffesionals and they'll let you know the pros and cons of the Inca Trail....enjoy your visit to Peru!!!!
Check . This company offers several trips ion Cusco and in Peru. They are affiliated to america outdoors and the Adventure Travel Trade assosiation. You have to be aware that if you pay a very little for this trip is because the company you hire is paying very little to their porter or in some cases not even paying them.
I recomend they are a reputable agency, do it way in advance as it is a veru sought after adventure.
good luck!
Last info I've had on the inca trail bookings was that you had to be on the waiting list and make your booking 6 to 8 months in advance.

You can see and have all the info you need.

If you have not the chance to hike the inca trail this time you have plenty of other opportunities to hike in the cordillera. Have a good time in Peru.
You can also see Bertrand's website (he is a localyte too and answered your question above) at .

Let him take you to Choquequirao and have a fabulous experience. I know him very well, he is very professional and knows very well the region and is good fun too.
When are you thinking of coming and how many people and days?
hello friend well yes fior book the inka trail you have to make areservation many months ago . there is an alternative tour called salkantay . where you can see beauitiful peaks amazing landscapes . well here i have been working in a tiour agency called peruinkasico . you can have a look . let me know . if you need information .

the short version of the trail, leaving not from cuzco but from the valley already, is a much better option, I've tried both, and the shorter is as wonderful and breathtaking as the long one, and probabilities of booking there bigger
Book it with me. Please let me know your dates and time to figure out the best option available for you.

all local hostals and hotels have agreements with tour guides and sometimes have reservations made, check that in advance with the front desk
If I wew you , and as you are looking after a reputable firm, I would suggest you to book with (A y K), Lima Tours, OAT, Condor travel. This are the top enterprises with a wide list of options.
the best thing will be to book in advance, but if you are going to use a hotel or hostal in Cuzco, they usually have some reservations made in advance for their guests, check that

You need to book you tour at least 6 months in advance but it depends on your time... how many days are you planing to stay here in Cuzco the other thing is that is a bit hard to do it you have to walk far away during the day and you need a good physical conditions. Let me know how many days are you planning to stay and you can choose 4 or 7 or more time doing your Inca´s trail. good luck!

There is room for the inka trail by mid or late august. Book it now spaces run out fast.

Another option is the Biking and Hiking tour to Machu Picchu that includes a hike by another section of the inka trail which is better than the one used by all others.

Here is an offer, any time after August, but you need to decide now so that you can reserve.
4 days + 3 nights, include train to km 82, entrance to trail and Machu Picchu, professional guide, all meals on trek, porters, camping equipment hotel night in Aguas Calientes, train back to Cusco. Total $490 per person based on double occupancy.
It's weird and awkward traveling with porters even though inca land adventures, the company we're trekking with (and whom we highly recommend ), treats their porters very well. They have uniforms and real backpacks and our guide tells us he likes working for them. Some of the other porters just use sacks that they pack a mountain of stuff into and tie into a rudimentary backpack (not one of our guys). There's a 25 kilo limit per porter, but some carry more. Some are even running down the trail with all that gear and these are not big people, most of them are no taller than 5 foot 6 -- they're really incredible powerhouses!
