Question

Hi Localytes, I am planning on visiting Vancouver, Canada during my forthcoming semester break. I'm an international student based...

...in Malaysia. I want some advice on how to go about the process. I know that visa processing and distant international travel can sometimes be a pain-in-the-butt when one has no clue as to how to begin. Cheers

hi checkout this website it has all the requirements u need.
Hi Uchenna,

First at all, you need to prepare some required documents, basically they are:
1. a valid passport with at least 6 months available
2. ID card
3. some certificates, such as deposit (and probably property if you have), employment or student's enrolment, and household register… that can prove that you’ll leave and won’t illegally stay in Canada. You certainly return to your original place.
4. your traveling plan, and if you have a friend or relative lives in Canada, you’ll be ask for his/her address and phone number
5. two-way ticket
6. photos (1 3/8″ x 1 3/4″)

Next, fill out the application… and then submit/send them to Canadian visa office
The fee for single entry is CAN$75

You could go to for more detail.

Good Luck!
