Question

Going to Hua Hin via a minivan in Bangkok

At what times do these minivans depart from Victory Monument in Bangkok to go to Hua Hin? Do you know their schedules?

Location

City: Bangkok Metropolis

Province: Krung Thep

Country: Thailand

Answers

There are no published schedules, so just go there and leave, there should be minivans every hour or even every 30 minutes
There are several agencies that run the minivans at the monument in front of he Rajavitee hospital section. Vans depart every 30 minutes from 6am to 6pm daily. The trip takes around 2.5 hours.

have fun,
Randy
Outside the Cinema / Shop complex at Victory Monument the mini buses leave when they full, most I have waited, 14 mins

Can you please tell me the charge to huahin by mini van.

Thank you.

RAsh
They leave every 5 or 10 mins, or when they are full. They run all day from early morning till 8pm and take 1.5 hours (sometimes less) to get to Hua Hin.
Sorry.....I meant to say that they take 2.5 hours or less. Jim
The fare is B200.
Thank you so much for the reply.

i confirmed! they are all correct answer.

good day!
I donĀ“t know about this, but a good place to get fares to Hua Hin and other places in Thailand is in Kohsan road area, or at your hotel. Another nice way of getting to Hua Hin is to take the train here. It takes about 4 hours and is probably the safest way. You will arriwe in the center of Hua Hin with walking distances to nice and cheap hotels. The fare to Hua Hin is also much cheaper than a mini van, probably just a couple of hundred Bath. _Welcome to our beutiful little city...
Khao San is one of the most expensive places in Bangkok to book your trip, because of the many many tourists that don't know about the prices and don't mind paying a bit extra.
Minivans leave from victory monument and schedule is every 20 minutes or when the van is full. it takes normally 2.5 hours to get to when, if you need any help around huahin, do let me know.
Yep, the vans leave as often as every 30 mins or when they are full, about 6-8 pax. Weekend, there are more frequent than weekdays...
I guess I have nothing to add here coz they've already answered your questions...so all I can say is enjoy and have a safe trip! :)

Well, i think the vans dont really depart according the the schedule, it depends on the numbers of the passengers, the drivers will wait until every seat is taken. I think at the longest time will be an hour of waiting. hope that can help a bit. x

Hey ! Actually there is no schedule, they usually start around 6.00am then live each time the van is full it isn't really in V.M but very close by, just under the BTS station at the left entrance of the shopping mall. If you need more info let me know. Cheers
Remember this is Thailand - schedules are a bit too formal but mini buses leave regularly so be brave and just turn up.
Have you considered hiring your own mini bus and driver. It costs round 2000 Baht a day for bus and driver for up to 12 people plus petrol round 1000 Baht. You can then go where you want, when you want and see so much more when you are under control of what you want to see and do.
Have a good holiday
when you are leaving hua hin, the bus departs from behind the kasikorn bank on petchkasem road, close to the fresh market and junction,
every 30 mins from Victory monument jump in the mini bus in front of Discovory Mall

Hope u got ur answer!

I thought every 30 minutes, or when full, the mini-van will depart.
Very convenient.

Andre
No schedule is published because they wait to fill the van before leaving. Best option is to go to victory monument during daylight hours and find a van going to hua hin, you won;t have to wait more than 15 minutes usually less. Enjoy

Mike
Transport fare's 200 B
they leave every half hour or they full.
1 st leave on 7.00 am till 6.00pm.
price has now dropped to 180 baht there are now 2 companies running vans.
