are there amusement parks in prague?

amuement, theme, water parks , that sort of thing

City: Prague

Region: Central Bohemia

Country: Czech Republic

The bigest amusement park is in HoleŇ°ovice (metro line C stop Nadrazi Holesovice and then 500 m walking. There you find all the rides from the smalest one for children till the thrilling ones for very strong stomachs.
Aquapark - check , little bit out of Prague, but still reachable by metro and bus.
But is you travel with children, then I recomend Prague ZOO (metro line C to Nadrazi Holesovice + bus 112)
Have fun in Prague !
There's only one that I know of and that's in Prague 7 (Holesovice) just behind Vystaviste and on the edge of Stromovka Park

Having said that, it's nothing special, and so if that's your main reason for coming to the beautiful, cultural, historic city of Prague, then I wouldn't bother
I would like to recommend one more attraction nearby the amusement park in Holesovice near Vystaviste. It is a place with many Sea aquariums with different species of fish and other. i.e. you can see small sharks there. These pages may help you
hmmmm,,you sure you will need them ???? No real amusment parks over here,,,however Prague is full of amusment you will see
make sure you check if the amusement park is actually there when you come - it's seasonal, not stationary. they actually had a couple of pretty decent rides last time i went.. that was years ago, however :).

a better amusement could be one of the acqua parks, as mentioned - there's a few.

better yet, the singing fountains are much more interesting than the park - same place Vystaviste. check for performances that involve not just music but also theater - they rock.

but, seriously... there's too much to do in prague to waste time on the rides :).
