when u come to Ghana, come down to my hometown in ashanti and visit the more than 7 kilometre distance farm with my over 70year-old grandparents.

You will be priveleged to carry a load of not less than 25kilograms on your head, walk in the mountains leading to home, sweat till you can no longer dab your skin with a handkerchief, feel the real tropical sunshine and know how friendly the elephant grass is to the skin.
They can stay with a local family instead of in a hotel to start with. Then they can eat at a chop bar instead of a restaurant, and generally try to experience life as a localite. You know, go to the local market or grocery, and come home and cook a local meal and eat. They can also hang out at a local pub in the evenings. Fun, basically.

Touring, to me, is not only about site seeing, where we visit to only see places and people. One can actually join the local folks in their daily work. By this I mean menial jobs like "kayayo", track pushing and the various laborer jobs to actually give the tourist more knowledge about what is actually on the ground and our true way of life.
