I believe one of those would be skiing down snowy mountains in forests, like not only traditional ways with a sledge or skis, snowboard, but rather things like a rug when around 10 people go down a mountain on it, an inflatable tube, a rubber shipping boat, a guitar, basically anything that has a smooth surface and has somewhere to put your bottom on, but the snow is probably going to melt soon so try this next year lots of fun :). There are quite some other things to do in winter time like going to a sauna then jumping into a pile of snow and rolling in it instead of just jumping in a lake or something. Thinking about the warmer weather there is this restaurant on a highway from Kaunas to Vilnius, where you can catch your own fish with a fishing pole and then the chef will prepare it for you. Near the city side there is this lake Plateliai, where you can go scuba- diving, if you like extreme sports you could always try power kiting. You could also go camping like finding a fireplace somewhere in the forest or near any lake, setting it up, getting some food ready, enjoy nature or go for a swim. Can't think of anything more at the momment :)
Tourists rarely experience being in deep forests of Lithuania, going to such a places alike "Lokės pėda" park, visit Užupis in Vilnius or swimming in lakes, then they don't usually see all the Lithuanians nature. I could recommend you to go to Zervynos village - very unique place and there's maybe 2-3 beutiful lakes around it and river Ūla, where it's fun to swim to after sauna.
Amond fun things to do in Lithuania I would mention forest mushroom-picking (boletus, chanterelle, etc.), having a picnic on the bank of a lake in the forest, which not many people know, wining & dinings in small yet cosy cafes and restaurants like "Uzupio picerija", "Uzupio klasika", "St. Germain", "In vito" (in Vilnius). And if we are talking about winter, then I agree with another opinion about sledge-riding, skiing, and if it's really frosty - taking a walk over the frozen lake from Uzutrakis to Trakai or vice versa... ;-)
Nice to be important, but more important to be nice...
THanks for the question firstly!
I actually study tourism, so I'm going to be a specialist of this field.
What lithuanians enjoy- is partying ;D.
In Klaipeda are various nightclubs, you should visit Curonian Spit and Delphinarium! Google in order to discover these objects.
Take a walk in Vasaros estrados park, where many people make sport. I dont know...there are many opportunities to do great things
I'm affraid that there is not much exotic things in Lithuania. If you were from china or from zimbabwe - you would probably find something new in here, but if you are from europe or from north america, then you'll probably find nothing new in here.

Of course, bellow mentioned mushrom picking is highly recomended. Though it's usually available only in autumn. You could also try fishing and hiking. Some people also love to hunt.

And talking about pubs - all tourists go there, so its not like some secret pleasure or anything.

To make a conclusion: stick with the nature :)
Hey! You are asking what regular Lithuanians do in their leisure time? So firstly you MUST visit Akropolis - the most famous time spending area in all of the main towns. You do not have to buy anything in there, just walk around 1 time, then the other and so on...People in Lithuania enjoy spending their tiem in there...Then you could go playing Bowling, then to the cinema, and walk one more time round Akropolis...
Although I am just kidding and do not reccomend this to you at all - there are a lot of Lithuanians who spend their time like that. I would offer you to visit some night clubs, but not the ones that are very popular and highly advertised. For example if you are in Kaunas, you should definately to to the "Scandaloso" coctail bar (Kestucio str.3) - there you will see how the real Lithuanians are partying!
Have a great time!
Tere is a military nuclear rockets base near Plateliai left after The World War II, of course empty already but interesting to visit.
You can find a lot of not traditional and even extreem activities like a tour through a swamp in a day or night time, riding hourses, yachting in Kaunas sea, parachooting in Pociunai and etc. in web page . As a matter of fact there is no English version but You could try to find some by Yourself or ask me to organize it for You for agreed fee
Hi there,
Now it’s getting more and more popular to remember old times, when Lithuania was included to Soviet Union. I’m adding some links, just to understand what I mean:

hi,
There are still some interesting places to see like old bunkers and nuclear power station in Visaginas. This places usually are not common to visit by foreign visitors.
If you need more information please contact me personally.
I would also recommend watching everything from an air balloon or small plain.
How i usually advise to the foreigners, it is worth to visit Lithuania since late spring till early autumn. Then You gain the possibility to see the very treasures of Lithuanian nature. Walking on feet, skateing on rollers, going on canoes or by trains. One of the best bikeways goes along Kursiu Nerija from Smiltyne to Nida. There you will find such places, where you feel, like you've never felt before. You will see shores with no people kilometer long to both sides, there you can swim naked. If to go by canoe, there are many beautiful rivers in Lithuania, they pass forests and feelds, archaical villages and lakes. For example there are good riverroads: Dubysa or Lakaja, there you see much of wild nature and get a posibility to camp in the very peopleempty places in the deepnes of Lithuania. Its allso a possibility to travel visiting mounds, so You can even draw in some citys. For this journey i would recomend to rent a car in that case, or to go by train with bikes. There are unbeleveable beutiful nature areas in Aukstaitijos national park-the eastern Lihuania, also in Zemaitija - the northern west of Lithuania.
In the nature lithuanian people like siting by fireplaces with friend, dancing, singing songs, playing games, takeing some sports. In the citys they like going to cinemas, theatres, concerts (there is a very high level of theatre and classical music concerts in Lithuania), visiting each other at home and making there evenings eating some delicious homemade dishes, some like shopping or slideing, or siting in cafes or playing there table games, some walking long ways after job, some like to take part in some national events on squares, some belong to circles or clubs of different activitys - from discussing, art, sports, religion to hand crafts. Some like siting in the evenings in pairs at home in romantic candlelight drinking wine and watching the others living theyr lives in very coloured windows of the many-flat houses, on streets, in stadions.. To these, who want to experience something special in Lithuania and to feel them selves more than turists in here, i would advice to find some interesting, active and travelcrasy lithuanian friends..

well it is really good question. Lithuania it is mixed culture of Russia, Poland and Lithuania itself. Nice nightlife in Vilnius with tradition like in Russia, Poland in one country. Most people are friendly and helpful. Moreover nice architecture styles, temples, castles and museums.
hey!

I would recommend you to go by canoe or kayak in Lithuanian nature! You can visit website in english -
have a good time!
it depends on the age of traveler. but i would recommend to come in summer time to the seaside. when bars, clubs are going crazy. then you can also to go near one of Lithuania's lakes. these are great. very nice feast is in the beginning of July near Luksto lake. smth like nights of blues. there come people very friendly, in a very good mood and very different. this is amazing :) other thing i would like to recommend is the end of July in harbor Klaipeda there is sea feast, this year many nations are coming to show their programs, as i imagine it will be worth to see. else, if not summer time, then try to have fun in clubs. as well many pubs. the best place is capital - Vilnius :)
Oh, the best friend of mine lives in Lithuania. If u realy want to find out that "secret things" I could give u his coordinates
I don't know what people do in other cities, but in Klaipeda clubs are always full expecially at summer, because when you get bored in club you can go to the beach, feel the water or wait for the sunrise and the come back home wasted.
You can see and do many interesting things and have very good time here. You can have either bachelor party or go to the deep forest-everything depends on your interests:)
Visit swingers party :)
