Yes, contact your tour operator. You will have to pay your Guide, porter, food and Park entry fees.
Yes there are different fees depending on the categories of the visitor. Kenya Wildlife Services- the body that manages the mountain- charges as follows for mountain climbing. USD4(ksh. 300) for adults who are Kenya citizens, USD7(ksh 550)for adults Kenya residents and USD55 for non-residents.

Children below 18 years who are Kenya citizen are chargesUSD1.5(ksh.100), residents USD2.5(Ksh.200) and non-residentsUSD20

Students who are Kenya citizens are charged USD1.5(Ksh.100), residents USD2.5(Ksh.200) and non-residents USD15.

Porters are charged Ksh. 50.

These fees are paid directly to the Kenya Wildlife Service. The payments are made cash at the entrance. Other possible charges are porters and guide fee. The fee ranges from USD6-USD10 per day per person.

The rest are for food and transport to and fro the entrance gate.
Apart from the normal entrance park and other expences fee you can enjoy climbing this outerstading mountain for free, the question is, will you make it to the peak, but remember to carry an extra coin for your guides, good luck.
