Question

Hi All. Am looking for a place to dive on the Pacific side of Costa Rica. Would like it to be cheap, and also suggestion for...

...transport and/or accommodation if necessary. I will be spending most of my time in San Jose-Monteverde-Arenal. I am also a big adventure buff and looking for fun, not necessarily touristy things to do... Thanks!

hi Simmi, on the pacific coast of Costa Rica is one of the best scuba diving spots in the country, Isla del Cano, This island’s virgin waters are some of the bluest in the country, and are home to a spectacular variety of stunning marine flora and fauna as well as some gorgeous coral reefs. Rated as being the best underwater adventure diving spots in the world, the Isla del Cano Biological Reserve is also home to a huge variety of fish, whales and sharks. green season rates are in place and I can offer you a package including transfer, accommodation and tours including Isla del Cano.

Guancaste beaches area the best places to dive between months of May thru October. Especailly dive sites like Catalina Islands, Bat Islands, Punta Gorda, Ocotal Point, Acuario, Pelonas Islands, Virador Rock. All of these dive sites can be accesed from Playas del Coco(cheapest diving), Playa Hermosa(2nd choice), Playa Tamarindo(3rd choice) and Playa Flamingo(most expensive).

Great adventures to be had around the Rincon de la Vieja Volcano national park in Guancaste! You could stay at Hacienda Guachipelin or at Rincon de la Vieja Lodge near NP entrance. Hikes, river tubing, horsback riding, zip lines, waterfalls, thermal springs & volcanic mud baths and more! The NP has kms of unspoiled trails!
