I will be arriving in Montreal in 15 October and fly out of Montreal again on 21 October and need your advice and service (if available).
Greetings from South Africa. I need your advice and assistance please. Over and above exploring both Quebec city and Montreal, in your opinion, would you spend time around Montreal (to the west of Quebec city) or would you suggest we rather spend some time to the East of Quebec City. I believe there is a drive East of Quebec City along the St. Lawrence which could be done (along the St. Lawrence River). OR from Montreal see the countryside across the river for a visit to L'Orpailleur and tour the vineyards.
I might be available during that point, but would need more information from you privately. You may contact me at:
You will have a great time no matter what you choose, I agree that the drive East is very beautiful but it depends on your tastes. There is quite a lot of area to cover and I'd suggest you find someone local like Gregory who can provide you with specifics. The one mistake visitors make when visiting Canada is planning too much in a short space of time. There will be many things you see and will want to explore so knowing your tastes and timeline will also be very helpful.
I'm sorry I cannot be more specificly helpful. I have made two trips to Quebec but currently live six hours by plane or four days by car from Montreal. I truly wish you a safe and enjoyable visit to our wonderful country and if you ever get out West, I'd love to show you around my neck of the woods.
