Answers

1) Anytime is the same in terms of temperature. Only it rains between nov-feb more often than the rest of the year, so cooler-but also wet.
2) Hotels you need to mention what is your per night budget
3) There is no off season really. However Peak Season is when the Formula 1 is held here, also during holiday season like x-mas or Chinese new year. Rest is pretty much the same.
4) Singapore is fairly straightforward. All the tourist attractions are ll known and well exhibited. Its also very safe and there are money exchangers sprinkled across the city.
Thanks, My friend and i will be in Singapore from May 1 to May 5.
Please kindly advice : is there any special event those days?
I want to buy 1 camera and clothes, bags. Pls adv me where should i buy brand name but sales off?
There are no seasons in Singapore so anytime is about the same. It may be a bit wetter in Nov/Dec so you might want to try other times if you're looking for more outdoor activities.

Having said that, come in Sep if you're interested in the F1, Dec if you want to see the Orchard Road Christmas light up, Feb for the Chinatown Chinese New Year light up (avoid the actual Chinese New Year dates as most things are closed then). Deepavali light up in Little India comes around October and Hari Raya Puasa light up in Geylang are also interesting festivals to come for.

There are plenty of attractions as well in Singapore from the Arts (Esplanade tours and shows, Art Museum, Toy Museum, etc), big scale ones (Resorts World Sentosa, Universal Studios, Night Safari, Singapore Flyer, Singapore Zoo, Bird Park, etc), historical ones (Chinatown Heritage Museum, National Museum, etc) and of course the food (restaurants, hawker centres - all over!)

If you're on a budget, there are many hostels and budget hotels (Hotel81, Fragrance Hotel, etc) are available but may not be the best for a family stay.

Check out sites like or , etc for offers or visit the individual hotel websites.

There are Singapore Visitor Centres sprinkled around the city (Changi Airport, Orchard Road, Little India, Harbourfront, Suntec City, Liang Court, Plaza Singapura) or just ask any friendly Singaporean.
