Answers

Where in Brazil?
There's a lot to see...
Where are you planning to going.
I'd advise to take a least one week in Rio.
Then go to Buzios and Arraial do Cabo and finaly Ilha Grande.
As soon as you get here, you can be informed about these places, but I can assure you, this can be the best trip you ever had.
All depends on youfr budget. I live in the Island of Fernando de Noronha which is amazingly gorgeous on the Northeast coast. Brazil also has more than 7.000 km of great beaches. Rio is without a doubt one of the most beautiful places on Earth.
We also have the Amazon river and jungle. The largest wetland in the planet at Mato Grosso called Pantanal. Porto de Galinhas in Pernambuco is also a fine place to visit and relax...check thses ones on the web and ask again in case you decide for any of them...Cheers
That's too global of a question: Brazil's almost the size of the US, and has 1000s of attractions!

Beaches, history, culture.
Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Foz do Iguaçú, Brasília and Manaus.
This is a nice begining.
Hi, as properly put above by jimmy brazil is huge, half of south america and twice as big as western europe. There are loads to be seen and advice has to tailor your likes, so no point in putting a long list of names here. I suggest you do some research on brazil, check the places you like and come back with more specific questions and it'll be much easier to help.

You can have an idea of some nature places on my blog in "main destinations"
Brazil is huge and has lots of excellent options! I would recommend you go to Florianópolis (Floripa): a safe place where you can find beaches, nature, adventures, nightlife and beautiful people at the same time. There is a website with many useful informations about Florianópolis (Floripa), take a look:
Cheers
Chapada dos Veadeiros, at central Brazil, has fantastic waterfalls, wild animals, amazing landscape, cheap prices, friendly people and great weather. You get to know places few people had seen, you run away from the obvious.
Brazil is too big. There is a lot of must see places and they're not near each other. You will need to decide if you will go to one city and stay there visiting the area or you will travel along the country to see the best places in the country

Some sugestions :

Bonito/MS ()
Chapada Diamantina/BA ()
Fernando de Noronha ()
Abrolhos ()
Amazonia ()
Rio de Janeiro

The places I listed are so distance each other like New York, Seattle, Los Angeles and Miami and to do a good trip you should stay at least one week in each one.

If you choose to stay just in one city, Rio de Janeiro is one of the best options, with a lot of near places to visit.
Eu gosto muito das suas respostas, colega.
Brasil is amazing country to visit but i suggest you visit rio de janeiro ( the next olympic city and world cup ).There is a redentor christ sugar loaf , lot of beaches and you can go to buzios (2 hours from rio ) I can also visit Salvador ( bahia state) with your regional culture .Pelourinho streat and much more .Check out brazilian sites an will find much more beautiful things to see here .Have a good trip
It depends on your budget, time and tastes...What you are looking for?

Is it nature? If you are looking for beaches and beautiful landscapes I would suggest Fernando de Noronha, Lençóis Maranhenses, the northeast coast..not only the capitals but meanly the small villages that you discover in a one day trip...Or little paradises like Galinhos, Jericoacoara, Caraíva, Pipa....

If you are looking for outside sports and adventure in nature I would suggest you Bonito (wonderful place), Chapada dos Veadeiros, Chapada dos Guimarães...
Want to know more about our nature? Pantanal, Amazonas....One friend told me that the most beautiful moment of his life was watch a sunrise in the middle of the Amazon river...

If you are looking for beautiful landscaps and parties with beautiful people, Trancoso, Florianópolis, and the north coast of São Paulo and the coast of Rio (Angra, Buzios, Arraial do Cabo...).

But if you want historical sites, Ouro Preto, Mariana, Tiradentes, Paraty, Salvador, Porto Seguro are great places.

If you are looking for parties and culture, São Paulo if for you..Here we have all the restaurants, museums, expositions, movies, theaters and parties that you can imagine and can't imagine...But I have to warn you, the city is not beautiful...Rio is also a good choice, is a wonderful city with a lot of cultural options and parties.

Watch this video on youtube, I really love it:

If you want more information, send me a message...
I almost forgot to say what you have to do....watch capoeira, samba in a school of samba or in a "roda de samba", do nothing in the beach...eat food from Bahia and Minas Gerais...and as an obligation...explore everything and don't limit you trip to tourist sites...
well you got lots of replies already. I would say it depends when you are coming and what kind of thing you like doing. Remembers the seasons are the reverse of Europe / USA, although in north and northeast Brazil you can say there is 12months of summer, just a wetter period in the northeast in June-Aug, but rarely it rains all day and rarely is rains every day.

If you liek history and culture check out the world heritage cities, if you like nature and wildlife thing about the Amazon, Pantanal, Fernando de Noronha etc. If you like beaches there are many great ones all over Brazil - but the weather will be an important issue then. You mix it up in the northeast with great beaches, historic towns and in Recife amazing gastronomy too. Check out for more info
wel,if you want to see ansmaal village with nice and cool people you most visit Trancoso here you can find restaurants, bars and place to dance the forró,disco...
also visit Arraial Dájuda,Caraíva,praia do Espelho.
if you need more help write me:
.
I like much Iguazu and Nordeste Beaches, Brazil big country...you will love it too!
You should go to Ilha Grande
