City: Manila

Charted city: Manila

Country: Philippines

BUS: From Pasig, take a cab and tell the driver to take you to EDSA Cubao where the Bus Terminals are located. I personally recommend the ES Transit as they have new clean buses. RIDE any bus passing thru DAU TERMINAL. From Dau, you can take a cab to take your destination. You can go back to Manila from the Dau station as well. Bus fare should be P100-150 I can't remember exactly.
You will go to the EDSA Cubao and and to Cubao you can take a ride there with a bus going to DAO whish is Victory Liner.Olongapo City is known for its colored jeepneys. for all those travellers who want to explore the city, the following are the jeepney colors and their respective routes:
p.s., let the Victory liner terminal be our point of origin; in terms of the direction, if you are facing the ULo ng Apo Monument, let it be our NORTH

YELLOW- jeepneys that ply to the Olongapo's main avenue, Rizal Ave., if you want to go to the New Public Market, City Hall, Rizal Triangle Park, ride the jeep going SOUTH. if you want to go to the Magsaysay Drive or the Main Gate of Subic Bay Freeport, ride the jeep going north. Flat rate fare is P8.50

BLUE- jeepneys going to Barangay Barretto (where most beaches are located), the towns of Subic, Castillejos, and San Marcelino. The terminal is located beside the Victory terminal.

BROWN- jeepneys going to the Bgy. New Cabalan, Olongapo and its neighboring barangay of Bangal and Tipo, Dinalupihan, Bataan

RED- jeepneys going to Bgy. Mabayuan, the uptown area of Olongapo. Flat rate fare is P8.50

ORANGE- jeepneys going to Pag-asa Market. From the terminal you will have to walk WEST. Flat rate fare is P8.50
hi macman,
you can reach angeles city by the following route. take a taxi from the terminal which will bring you to the victory bus liner terminal. it will only cost P60 for the taxi. then the bus will cost P120 pesos going to dau terminal. then from dau, take a jeepney passenger amounting P7.50 . so there you are to angeles city. if you need personal assistance for you and your family's safety please let me know. i can personally accompany you going to the terminal bus way to dau ( angeles city ). it is where i live also. please let me know. dont worry, i will not charge you for anything. taxi is very expensive too. email me for more info .

you can take buses to dau, angeles. or u can privately hire a van from pasay, manila.
just as ari and mirasol said mac, take the bus ride.
just take a cab to the nearest Victory Liner Terminal I think you can just take the bus the safest is Victory liner tried and tested for years.... from dau terminal take a jeep to check point (SM Clark) (7.50)... from SM Clark you go wherever you want to go... Welcome to Angeles City!
have a nice trip
yes taxi is so crowded..

Hi there, the best and safest way to go to angeles city from manila is through Bus. But first you have to go to the terminal at cubao EDSA. Now, if you come from Pasig area you can take jeepney and city bus to reach the terminal of victory or phil rabbit. The bus has also a terminal station in angeles, pampangga which is your point of drop off. Bus,Jeepney/tricycle/pedicab are usually mode of transport services anywhere in the Phils. The minimum fare range to P11.00 P7.50,P15.00, P10.00 respectively. Rate varies on how long your destinations is. Filipinos are very friendly people and they can speaks English so you can easily ask question and they will answer you in details especially if you are foreigner. (your approximate budget to reach the area back in fort is 500pesos). Note: you may experience traffic once in while upon exit and entry in manila. Travel time may take less than 2hours.
rent a car with driver. private, comfortable and it will be at your beck & call.
dont be mislead or confused. some of the answers here pertain to OLONGAPO CITY, which is not your destination and is different from ANGELES CITY (which is in PAMPANGA).
there are several buses that could bring you there... no need to take a cab...
suggest Victory Liner direct to Angeles City or via Dau... Bataan Transit in Cubao or Genesis in Pasay (both head to Bataan so you have to get off at the first intersection in San Fernando and take a jeepney from there to Angeles City)

Fare: approx 100Php Manila to San Fernando bus, Php 30 San Fernando to ANgeles CIty jeepney
If you need a map, let me know.
Take taxi to Victory Lines ,Pasay City. Bus leaves every 30 Minutes for Angeles !
As with what Mr. Santos said, if you DO get lost and end up in Olongapo instead of Angeles, there is a road that runs directly from Subic Freeport Zone to Clark Airbase, a mere one hour ride.

Thank you for choosing the Philippines!
Please DON'T take any bus going to Olongapo, Zambales or Bataan. This will only take you until San Fernando, Pampanga. Traffic in Pampanga is so bad and if you are not familiar with the jeeps you might get lost going to Angeles.

Go to Cubao and choose between Victory Liner or Five Star. Take the buses going to Dagupan or Baguio. If you're leaving between 12AM and 4AM, make sure to ask the conductor if they will stop at the DAU bus terminal. You might take the express bus which does not stop in DAU.

DAU is in Angeles already. If no one's fetching you from the bus station you can go to the jeepney stand in front of SM Clark.

Exit the DAU terminal, from where your bus entered. Turn left towards the highway. Cross the street and wait for the jeep going to CPOINT (checkpoint). When the jeep reaches its terminal get down and walk towards SM. You'll see the jeeps lined up, go ahead and ask for directions to your final destination.

Returning to Pasay, go back to the DAU terminal and ride any bus with a Pasay signboard.

Have a safe trip
