Where is the best place to shop in Prague?

City: Prague

Region: Central Bohemia

Country: Czech Republic

If you prefer shopping malls, you shouldn´t miss the ultramodern Palladium shopping gallery in the centre (Náměstí Republiky station).
The Palladium Shopping Centre (close to Namesti Republiky) has a good variety of shops all under one place.

However, if you want something a bit more "up market" then head for Pariska (main shopping street) or Na Prikope

For something a bit different, wander off the beaten track where you will find a number of smaller shops with a good variety of souvenirs to remember your trip to Prague by.
great shopping centres are Na Prikope, Chodov or Cerny most, Palladium is pretty new and modern. And to get there is easy, by underground. GL and enjoy your stay
Palladium shopping mall at Namesti Republiki, obviously, would currently top the list. However, the Flora shopping mall is also worth a visit - Flora green line metro stop. Novy Smichov shopping mall at Andel - yellow line metro - is not too bad. To check out designer labels, head to Parizska street right downtown. Other places, like a huge outlet store or other major malls are further away. Walking around the city, you might also stumble upon smaller individual stores. Oftentimes a half hour spent between the rails will be rewarded by something lovely and very reasonably priced.
It really depends on what you are planning to buy..I'd recommend Paladium, Flora or Andel(Novy Smichov) shopping moles. Otherwise the city center is just crowded with small shops. Good luck...
Oh just don't be thinking of Prague as another cheep Eastern-European city for shopping, you'd be surprised... :D
