This tour will leave nairobi at about 9 in the morning to Hells gate national park. The route takes you through the great rift valley view point where on a clear day the mount longonot is spectacular. The visit through Hells gate takes you about two hours and if you choose to trek the gorge, three hours. It still gives you enough time to travel to Nakuru, check in at the Merica Hotel and have lunch there. After Lunch you will then go for an afternoon game drive in the lake nakuru national park.

On the second day you may choose to sleep in late and start you return journey at 9 am after a sumptuous breakfast. The morning temperatures are comfortable to take a boat ride on Lake naivasha is you so choose, and see the families of Hippos in the lake, the hundreds of species of fish eating birds on the lake, tour the crescent island to view the residual herbivorous game there.

Otherwise a lazy drive back is still very relaxing.
