Hello!! i like to know which is the good place to stay in bangkok?? not so expensive......

City: Bangkok

Province: Krung Thep

Country: Thailand

This place is interesting. It is very near to tourist attractions in Rattanakosin Island. The employees are nice and helpful.
It depends on what standard you want. Myself, I would recommend Suk11 - a guest house with clean rooms, helpful staff and right near the Nana sky train station. It is about Baht 700 per night.
There are lots of Hotels and Hostels around Bangkok. It depends on which area you want to stay. Price start from THB 800 up, which is single bed room. Or you want to treat yourself in hotel have swimming pool, it start from THB 1500 (Around USD 10 to 50) you can get a good hotel.

You can send email to local agent, my recommce is

Cheers and have a nice stay
Bangkok Interplace, I always stay, 700 baht night, swim pool upstairs, bath tub with hot water, CNN and Airconditioning.. across the street is the University Ramkamhaeng, has two swimming pools, archary, gun shooting, tennis courts, walking room around open area, very large stadium build for the 1998 Asian Games. Banking inside building, tourist guide for travel, nice Very good value for the money...the money ya save ya can buy Doughnuts for staff..they call Mr. Ron the doughnut man..I allways bring them a treat!
At Sathorn, Silom, and Sukhumwit. It is hotel and apartment rent price from 600baht a night/ 5,000 baht a month with air condition.
There are too many options to mention. I suggest you have a look at and just click on the places that suits your budget.

have fun,

if u like to stay in town, i'd like to recommend for Citadine Hotel on Sukhumvit Road. not expensive, nice and new hotel. some friends of mine come to stay there. there r some branch in many soi on Sukhumvit: such as ; sukhumvit soi 8, soi 11, and somewhere eles i dont' remember. u can check out on the net. it's very nice and new and not so expensive. and i think u will like it
Khow san Road, have many chepe hotels.
How much for your budget?
Decide what catagory of hotel stay you would prefer, pick a hotel in that range then use a service like which is a meta search engine for hotel bookings (this means it searching hundreds of sites for the best rates available) and then pick and compare hotels in the same league location there. It is the best way. If you are looking for low end accommodation 700 and below a night there are quiet a few new clean guest houses around silom soi pi pat which are clean and comfortable.

Good luck and have fun in the kingdom!
There are plenty of suitable places as in Hotels/Guest Houses etc. depending which
is your favourite area in this megapol. Check the web sites.
A lot in Sukhumvit area start from soi 3 up to soi 15 . Both side of street.
Best bet is to look at . They have good recomendations and traveller reviews. Remember cheap is not the best way to go.
My recomendation is Jims Lodge in Bangkok.

Cheap is not always good.
For backpackers they prefer to stay in Khaosan road which you can find a room for 300-320/night. the place is accessable through bus, tuk-tuk, taxi and river taxi.
at Kowsan road are not expensive hotel
I suggest you to check "Baiyok Sky Hotel".
The most highest place to see Bangkok in Top view.
With inexpensive budget. Since there're a lot of available rooms.
And always offer the "Hot Deal".

Hello Khalid,

The choice is yours, never be afraid of not finding accomodation in Bangkok, my choice for a clean and good value hotel is, Opera hotel, Soi Samprasong Pettchuburi road , Bangkok. This is behind the First Hotel also near to Panthip plaza a good place for computer gear as well as Pratunam market for clothing.

regards Derek.
