you can rent motorcycles for hikes and maybe long distance travel...but it would be cheaper to purchase one rather than rent as motorcycles are not so expensive.
I concour with Anne, but it depends what type of moptocycle we talking about, you need a well maintained motorcycle at the same time its currently raining in Kenya, you are adviced to use other means of transport instead, maybe a 4 by 4 wheel car.
well it depends on your taste! a classic motorcycle is cheaper to hire. will if you want a low capacity motorcycle it would be advisable to buy one and sell after your tour!
Molten rock safaris has the best link with variety of motor bikes.
Wild at Heart Adventure (or in short) was established in 2006 and operates from Cape Town, South Africa. They import and distribute quality motorcycle accessories and gear to the Southern Africa motorcycle industry. They also have the best safari motorcycle.
Book now to get the best.
Yes it is possible to rent a bike and then travel through Kenya. infact it is very adventures to do that in the area we operate from. call us , we can arrange it for you
Hi,
It is true that it is raining in many parts of Kenya so getting a motorcycle is not a wise idea. A 4X4 is the most reccommended means of travel at the moment. Heels and Valise Tours can plan for you these tours so please inbox us in case you need help.

Getting a motorbike might challange you as the weather here is quite rainy i would advice you to hire a cosy 4*4 car and hire the kind of of motor bike u desire in wherever you will find your destination or site eg Naivasha HelLs Gate park
motorcycles are available for hire even on a daily basis at about 12$ a day but one requires a valid license for this. i have a about 3 that i let out on few occasions.
One of better companies for motorcycle tours is this: They also do tours in Kenya, please check their website - impressive! It is true that it often rains in Kenya at this time of the year, therefore 4X4 car is more advisable right now. But if you still prefer to go by a bike, then it is better to do so in Nov or Dec. It is better if you go with the group - not alone, due to safety concerns. Good luck and enjoy your trip!
I want to believe that you are already licensed motorist and know the traffic rules and regulation in Our region. Getting a motorcycle should not be hard, it would probably become more tricky when you narrow down to make/kind. It should be really fun biking around Kenya especially the rural parts, just be ready for harsh weather etc. Am not sure that you can enter protected areas in this case Mountains that have been gazetted as parks/reserves on a bike but am sure you can leave the bikes at the entry point and do some hiking etc. I have cycled across Kenya and East Africa during rainy season and all i would tell you is plan it well, get armed with everything and always be ready for any challenges! Expect the an expected.
yes as you care.uganda cyclerentals, nairobicyclerentals or moltencycles.
