How do we get to Venice beach from the civic center in l.a by metro busses? Thanks

That is a good question as the bus system is not the best in La county. i live in Orange county so I do not know. Go to this website for tometables etc
The bus system is not the greatest, it will get you there but not in a timely manner. Your best bet is to call 323-466-3876 and they will tell you exactly how to get there from where you are..
Ride METRO RAPID LINE 733 (SANTA MONICA) heading south
From: SPRING ST/TEMPLE ST&1ST ST
To: MAIN ST/GRAND BLVD(SE corner)
Pay $1.50, Monthly Pass/TAP: $75.00, (EZ Pass accepted)
From the Downtown L.A. area there are ample options to get to many beaches. That said, I would recommend taking the Santa Monica #10 bus from Alameda & Los Angeles Streets to the wonderful Santa Monica Pier (42). From here you can rent a bike or walk the fabulus bikepath to Venice Beach
and take in the beautiful beaches in between. Lots to do in Santa Monica as well.
