boston seafood

Well, anthony, you can't go wrong with sea food in Boston! My kids & I happen to love sushi, so we have some special places to go for that, including JP Seafood in the Jamaica Plain section of Boston. But if you want yours cooked, you'll really enjoy Anthony's Pier 4. Not only is it your namesake but it is a Boston institution. If you decide to go there, make sure you specify that you want a table with a window so that you can see all the goings on in Boston harbor. There is also a wonderful place called the No Name, also with the freshest fish around, right down in the harbor district, too. My kids love a place nearby called The Barking Crab & go all the time; I've been once & enjoyed it, a bit more casual & some open air seating on their deck. You might like to try Durgin Park, if you will be around the Faneuil Hall area, great historic neighborhood with City Hall on one border. Still the greatest & my mother's favorite & mine, is The Union Oyster House. Even if you stop in for their raw bar on the ground level, you may appreciate the very old interiors & locals clustered around, not to mention the perfect food itself! The other cool old Boston restaurant not to be missed is Jacob Wirth's, a little farther along on Washington Street. Some will take reservations, do call if you know where you will end up at luncheon or supper time.
Let me know if you want to know more about these restaurants or others, glad to help.

Best, C
