Location

City: Bangkok

Province: Krung Thep

Country: Thailand

Answers

Well, there is not just one place for what you have asked, there are quite a few.
Shopping:
1. Chinatown: Cheap stuff, replicas etc.
2. Pantip Plaza: IT stuff
3. Mah Boon Khrong (MBK) shopping centre (attire, all sorts of knick-knack, mobile phones, traveling gear, etc. etc.). You may bargain. Pricing: Low end to medium. Be careful about fakes!
4. Platinum shopping centre and Pratumam market, mainly for attire, very well priced, however still to haggle.
5. Up market shopping centres: Paragon, Discovery, Siam Centre, Cental World, Cental Chidlom: For brand stuff, no fakes. Still may haggle for the odd %! These shopping centres are pretty within walking distance.
6. Nightlife: Hard Rock Cafe at Siam Square and RCA at Rama IX (9) Road are just two examples. There are many more. Please listen to other localites!
Enjoy your stay in Bkk!

Bangkok nowadays got over 10 Mio inhabitants. See the proposals of fellow Localyte
Wilfried. And I may suggest, while here, look at the free promotion booklets, News-
papers etc. to make YOUR choice with your budget, since there is not ONE specific street for shopping, dining, partying, nightlife altogether. Have fun
Central Department Store, China town, Bobae, Eakamai, Tonglor, RCA, etc. as the previous answers
Kaow Saan Rd., you can shopping there ,they have manys things .also club and restuarant,Drink and enjoy with your friends. another its Siloam Rd,. if you ask Taxi or Thai people they will tell you how to get there.
sorry i reply u late i think in bangkok have street for shopping ...u know chatujak market, sapan pud...n for night clubs have near sukhumvit road n thong lor i think in bangkok have so much ...how i tell u..n restaurantes for thai food ?
Most popular area/street for shopping, restaurants and clubbing is definitely Sukhumvit Road. On this street you can find for shopping Emporium, Central flagship store on Ploenchit (extention Sukhumvit Road) Gayshorn Plaza, and Siam Square. Restaurants there are too many to mention. For clubbing, Sukhumvit Soi 11, with it's Bed supper Club and Q-Bar.

Have fun,

Andre
What you describe is Sukhumvit area, with plenty of restaurants, night clubs an shopping centers.

For upmarket shopping, you can go to Siam Paragon and Central. MBK would be "average" shopping
The most exciting area is the Sukhumvit Road area. Lots to do there. Also MBK is good for bargain and copy item shopping. The restuarants are also quite good.Siam Paragon and Central are also in the above average bracket.
Happy visit.
For shopping: MBK Shopping Center, Chatuchak Weekend market, Pratunam Market. If you are into branded items, go to Siam Paragon or Central World.

For night clubs: Patphong, Khao Saan Road, and Silom areas.

For restaurants; Khao Saan Rd., Sukhumvit Road.
I suggest Khaosan Road you can have all the shopping, bar hopping, and nice restaurants all at reasonable price. from khaosan you can go to The Grand Palace on foot.
