The museum is owned by the Universidad Católica Santa María (Catholic university Saint Marie). That would explain the mix up.

RUTH MENDEZ
is the official website.

The entrance costs 15 soles and you will be able to see not only "Juanita" but also the remains of a tribute to the mountains that was done together with her body, known as "Capac Cocha".

Sometimes it is also possible to see the bodies of other children given through this ceremony. Talking about the museum, you will start with a guide who will show you a video before entering to the museum itself. You will learn there that the name "mummy" is not proper to this frozen body, because she was not mummified (which means she gives the scientists a lot more information than a mummified body because her body is complete). Then your guide will explain to you about the things that were found with her and, finally the room where the body is kept on a frozen camera.

In the end you need to tip your guide. The tipping amount depends on you, because the museum doesn't give any income to their guides. You won't be able to get in the museum without a guide.

I include all of this extra information because I consider the info at the website is not as complete. I hope is helpful for you!
