Question

Where can i find people offering used items ie. furniture and appliances in Firenze? Is there a website or just markets?

Location

City: Florence

Region: Tuscany

Country: Italy

Answers

you have to go in via maggio or in via dei fossi there are a lot of small shops where find something!!
You can check this place: website

You can head to San Frediano and Santo Spirito zones and check out the artisian shops as well. You might have to pay a bit more. You can also find furniture left out for the garbage, you might have to clean it up a bit. I have many friends that find decent pieces of furniture left out to be thrown away. It is very cheap too!

In addition to San Frediano, in particular along the Via de' Serragli, here is a couple of places where to check too.
- Mercatopoli Firenze Legnaia
Via Fra' Diamante, 12/a
Firenze (FI)
- La soffitta antica
Via Senese al Galluzzo (Fi)

Good luck!

@ zizi marini: Via Maggio is the street of antique dealers. Gorgeous items if you deem as used an antique piece of furniture ;)
