Best Hotdog in San Francisco?

Location

City: San Francisco

State: California

Country: United States

Answers

Rosamunde sausge grill is great! There's one in the Lower Haight and one in the Mission. Carnivores love it for the variety (like boar sasauge), but even vegans get three options! Try the bacon wrapped dog if you've always wanted to try one from the Mission street vendors but you were too timid.
maybe it's the ambiance, but I'm partial to the sheboygan bratwurst with grilled onions at AT&T Park (preferably while the Giants are winning)
this is SF after all so for me the best hot dog is 'Lets Be Frank' in the Marina, Steiner @ Chestnut st - pure grass fed, anti-biotic / hormone free, locally sourced beef. But SF is also a city of diversity so Schmidt's serves up awesome German sausage along with the best potato salad you'll ever have - wild oar is awesome but my favourite is the duck.
I second Rosamunde!
