Day 1
Begin your day with a breath taking view of the entire city from Mt of Scopus. Drive to Mt. Zion and visit King David's Tomb. Enter the old City and walk through the renewed Jewish Quarter to view the Byzantine Cardo. Visit the Western Wall.
Davidson Center and the southern wall. Walk through the colorful Bazaars.

Day 2
Full Day sightseeing to the New City of Jerusalem. Visit Yad Vashem – memorial of Jewish Catastrophe during World War Two, continue to Mt. Herzel visit Yitzhak Rabin tomb. Drive via the Knesset – home of Israeli Parliament and Menora – Symbol of Israel. Drive to Hadasa Hospital to visit the Chagal Windows. Continue to the Israel Museum housing the Dead Sea scrolls and the model of Jerusalem from the second Temple End the Day at the Hass Promenade

Day 3
Drive to Tiberias situated on the Sea of Galilee .
Proceed to Kazrin to visit the ancient synagogue .
Visit Safed, the ancient center of Jewish mysticism (Kabala) since the Middle Ages and now an artist’s quarter.

Day 5

Start a sightseeing tour of modern Tel Aviv, the city that never stops. Visit the Diaspora Museum which tells the history of the Jewish people in other lands; Visit the Pal mach Museum and the Independence Hall where David Ben Gurion declared Israel’s Independence in 1948.
Oded's itinerary is great. Bear in mind you'll be here for Passover and Holy Week--you can either take advantage of all the unique ritual events or give them a wide berth. Jerusalem will be VERY crowded during the holiday period. See for some helpful info. Safe travels!

you got 2 great answer not much to add. any how in TV you have a red bus tour as well as in Jerusalem so that might give you orientation on those 2 cities.
