What prices you want to know? Its not cheap. As every big city in europe is expensive since the euro came. A beer in a regular bar in Amsterdam is about 1,80 euro, denpending on where you go.. some places are 2.00 euro and clubs are around 2,50. If you want to know specific prices just let me know.. Hi! yeah i'd like to know what prices you're curious about aswell :) let me know and i'll tell you!
Please let me know exactly the price of what you want to know and where in the Netherlands. In Amsterdam, Rotterdam, The Hague and other big cities it is more expensive than the smaller ones. But if you have enough time you can find places in Amsterdam for example where you can have a really nice dinner for 13-15euros or less, it depends what you will order.
Your question targets a broad spectrum for answers to which you have not responded thus far (4 Dutch Localytes) as to what "prices" are more of a concern for you and on what category you prefer to focus on?

I can assure you, there are many places in our country that may appear "exhorbitant" for some but for many more, its a regular rate and nothing too worrisom esp. if you are prepared to travel, have saved adequately to spend and swing to impress and surely.... you'd like to go and be at places where others were talking all the time to make you feel... "IT'S ABOUT TIME" for you to have that equal fun & adventure too to add to your blog...right? :)

We have plenty of Turkish Donna Kebabs... good to bad and poor to excellent to make you feel great to be in Holland...

I hope your stay in our beautiful country with special memorable places to look up is a happy and enjoyable one someday soon!!!
what price?
hi,i'd like to know accommodation prices in Amsterdam.which cities do u recommend me to visit?by the way i study architecture so i would prefer more historical places to see.thx..
Accomodation is, like all other things, depending on what you want. In Leiden (a city full of architcture) a single room can go from about 40 to over 100 euro per night. However, if you go somewhere near there, like Katwijk, you'll be able to find hotels from about 25 euro a night
Well accommodations and accompanying prices are as varied as you wishes I suppose. There is something to everybody`s liking. But late me ask you if your going to Amsterdam esp. for the architecture or haven`t you heard of any of the other bigger cities in the Netherlands since there are 3 more cities which will give you a better/different/broader architectural experience. And by comparison it isn`t that long a drive to one of the other cities by public transport max of 2 hours and less if you go somewhere central.
That was really so informative...THX
Most likely if you've never been here you'll want to see Amsterdam. It's the most common visitor spot with alot to see. Hotels range depending on when you want to come, maybe starting at about 60 euro a night and up.
Great, you have since responded and acknowledged some of the answers with a positive delight. I trust U R now better informed otherwise, please let us know what else you need to be informed.
Interesting to see how prices have risen. Someone below quoted a beer in a bar in Amsterdam as Euro 1.80. He forgot to mention that this isn't for a pint, but a half pint. Two years later and you're paying Euro 2.40 for a small beer. Blimey. Also two years ago it appears you could get a nice dinner for 13 Euro, these days, for a main course you're paying around Euro 19. Did prices go up so much. Hunt around for bargains - they're still available!
