the best place in coast is Twig a camping site in south coast..
Hi. there are several very good camping sites in the coastal region - try the tiwi camp site in south coas/diani area, or the bandas in kwale - not really a place u can walk out from and find a shop in 5 min but its like on top of a hill, cool and calm and have bandas or huts built for visitors to sleep in.. you have to sort the food out..
Diani Campsite
Located near the now defunct ruins of the former Trade Winds Hotel, this self-catering resort has been tidied up in recent years and now offers 10 simple thatched bandas with kitchens, and a grassy campsite with a ‘camphouse’ with cookers, fridges and lockers, plus clean washing facilities and tents can be hired. There’s a restaurant and bar where you can order simple seafood meals and pizzas and the beach is a short stroll away.
