Beluga Restaurant is fun and lots of atmosphere. Up to 19h00 it offers excellent Sushi and Prawns with Kingklip at a very reasonable price. Book ahead as mostly full.
Fun eating is as well Royal Eatery at Long Street with the best hamburgers of the city. Yindiies is one of the best Thai Restaurants in City Bowl. If you like noise and African meals visit Cafe Africa in Bree Street
If you have a big appetite and love good food the best eating places are
1) Bloemendal - Durbnville Cape town
2) Zevenwacht - Kuilsriver Cape town
3) Spier - Stellenbosch
4) The vineyards Guesthouse eatery - Brackenfell Cape town
5) Schoongesight - Brackenfell -Cape town
The fun places to eat in Cape Town are:
Arnolds in Kloof Street for really good value for money no-nonsense food
The Grand on the beach for a unique location but be prepared for arrogant and slow service.
The Cod father in Camps bay for a vibey fun place for fresh fish
Kalkies on Kalk Bay harbour for the freshest fried fish in town. On the weekends they have a marimba band outside as well. Brilliant no nonsense quintessentially Cape Town place.

Depends on what you like to eat. For African food, try MOYO in the winelands, or MAMA AFRICA in Cape Town. For good Fish BAIA in the V&A Waterfront - and for a good selection of food BALTHAZARS

Cape Town has so many different, fantastic restaurants, that I promise you will be spoilt for choice - and you will be blown away by the high quality of our food. Don't skip the winelands and one of our beautiful winefarm restaurants, like ZEVENWACHT or FAIRVIEW
Like all my capetonian colleagues have said there is many restaurants in Cape town which is great , Beluga and Mama Africa is great fun and a great experience.

At Century City there are a number of good resturants, Cattle Baron, and a lovely Thai Restaurant.
Traditional restaurant in the city centre. Serves communal feasts consisting of traditional Ndebele, Xhosa and Zulu dishes.
Try the Kitchen on Sir Lowry Road, or the Deli, which is just across the road from the Kitchen.
We have a number of lovely and pity of excellent restaurants in the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront shopping centre complex in Cape Town. There is quite a variety to choose from and also plenty of cosmopolitan retail shops.
